Obituary for Wayne Jr Rakow

Wayne Jr Rakow, age 92, of Fort Ripley passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Bethany-Good Samaritan Society. Wayne was born on August 28, 1927 in Wheaton, ND to William & Mary Louise (Gabory) Rakow. Wayne married Marie Persson on May 25, 1974. He worked for Potlatch up until his retirement
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 45 years, Marie; son, Robert (Alisa) Rakow; daughter, Robin (Darrell) Kaikkonen; stepson, Craig Persson; stepdaughter, Faye Persson; sister, Bonnie Sladek; 9 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents; one infant daughter; son Bill Rakow; and nine siblings.
A memorial service for Wayne will be held on April 11, 2020, time will be updated in the spring.
