Obituary

Obituary for Tina Faber

Kristina Constance Faber (Tina) AKA (Mimi), of Motley MN joined her loved ones in the beyond on January 3rd 2019, 11 days after her 85th birthday encircled by her loving family. She has reunited with her beloved husband of 67 yrs Armand Albert Faber who passed on this last year. Tina will be greatly missed by many including her children Brenda Lee Faber, Micheal Faber (Diane Forsberg), Lisa Muenchow (Bryan), Daniel Faber (Pauline Salveson) & grandson raised as their son Daniel Faber Jr. (Paige.) So far Tina & Armand have welcomed 36 “grand champions!” ranging from grand to great-great grandchildren. We are expecting more!

In 1933 Tina was born in Nashua NH to Greek immigrants Eleni (Helen) Zaferiou & Micheal D. Makris. In 1951 Tina & Armand were married, they lived in Nashua for another 20 yrs before moving to their farm in MN. She was a compassionate, giving woman to more than just her family, volunteering at the food shelf, sponsoring needy children & mentoring many. Her generosity had no bounds nor did her interests. She enjoyed & excelled at bowling & fishing and even had the pleasure of fishing with the legendary Al Lindner. Her hobbies/talents included being an accomplished seamstress, working with yarn, doing jigsaw, crossword & other puzzles & games & was a wiz at scrabble. She was an avid reader on many topics who dearly loved her many pets & flower gardens throughout the years.

Her work history both in NH & MN was mainly waitress & factory work. Many would agree that she was a wonderful waitress partly due to her love of people. She served at the Quarterdeck on Gull Lake, River Inn & Mr. Ed’s. For 10 plus years she worked & made friends at what is now known as Trident Seafoods. She also spent many hours helping train & care for the greyhound dogs the family raised.

Tina’s unique & feisty personality was appreciated by those who knew her. She will be fondly remembered by her family as ~ the keeper of the bubbles. She’d say “I’m wrapping you in a protective bubble, angels will watch over you until we meet again.” Tina Faber

My condolences to the Faber families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Tina. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”
Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
