Obituary for Richard Mosack

Richard  Mosack
Richard J. (Dick) Mosack, age 70, of Motley. Passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
He was born February 11, 1948 to Amelia (Matel) and Wilfred Mosack in Duluth, MN. He married Connie (Beseman) on October 6, 1979 in Swanville, MN.

Dick enjoyed giving directives and teaching life lessons by which debating became his speciality. Lovingly referred to as “the inspector” he loved tinkering and projects. His hobbies included spear fishing, cutting wood and welding.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Connie; children, Ben (Sarah) Mosack of Colfax, WI, Matt (Katey) Mosack of Pillager, Kim (Ricky) Albertson of Motley; grandchildren, Joe, Landon, Kherington, Triston, Brody, Damian, and Lyla; sisters, Diane (Jack) Tait-Bernard of New Hope, and Pat (Jim) Dake of Cloquet; brother, Jim (Ann) Mosack of Duluth; sister-in-law, Sue Mosack of Superior, WI; also many nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Church of St. Michael in Motley with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Visitation will also be held on Sunday from 4:00-7:00pm at the Taylor Funeral Home in Staples. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
