Denise always had a giving nature and a heart filled with joy. She volunteered with Circle of Parents in Staples for over 10 years working with the childcare program. She especially loved helping child with various creative projects including decorating floats for Rail Road Days parades. She loved animals and contributed to bettering the community which she loved. I will miss her terribly. She was a truly good person and a friend. Jennifer Paananen(friend)

Aunt Dee Dee never forgot a birthday or anniversary, and we always received letters with her creative artistic touch. I always loved looking at her paintings when we visited her at the farm in Staples. She will be missed.
